Studio Lunora ("we", "us", "our") operates ShiftWise, a shift work companion application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
Email address (for authentication)
Display name (optional)
Authentication provider data (Apple ID or Google Sign-In)
1.2 Shift & Schedule Data
Shift schedules you create or import
Work patterns and rotation templates
Notes added to shifts
1.3 Health & Wellness Data
Sleep schedule data (manually entered or from Wise AI conversations)
Energy and fatigue scores (calculated locally on your device)
Alarm and notification preferences

Messages you send to Wise AI assistant
Wise AI responses

App usage patterns (screens visited, features used)

We use your information to:
Provide and personalize the ShiftWise experience
Generate AI-powered shift recommendations and sleep plans
Calculate energy scores and fatigue predictions

3. AI Data Processing
3.1 How Wise AI Works
Wise AI processes your shift data and conversation messages to provide personalized recommendations. Your messages are sent to our secure server (Supabase Edge Functions), which communicates with Anthropic's Claude AI models.
3.2 What We Send to AI
Your current message
Recent conversation context (last 10 messages)
Your shift schedule and work pattern
Your onboarding preferences (shift type, sleep habits)
What We Do NOT Send to AI: Your email address or real name, your financial or earnings data, your device information, or your purchase history.
3.3 AI Data Retention
Conversation history is stored in your Supabase account. You can delete your conversation history at any time. AI model providers (Anthropic) do not store your data beyond processing.
4. Data Storage & Security
4.1 Local Storage
Shift data, alarms, and preferences are stored locally on your device using encrypted storage (Hive). Local data is not accessible to other apps.
4.2 Cloud Storage
Account data and AI conversations are stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS). All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. Row Level Security (RLS) ensures you can only access your own data.
4.3 Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics for anonymous usage statistics and Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting. These services collect anonymized device and usage data.
5. Data Sharing
We do NOT sell your personal data. We share data only with:
Anthropic — AI conversation processing (messages only, no personal identifiers)
Apple / Google — Authentication and in-app purchase processing
RevenueCat — Subscription management (purchase status only)
Firebase (Google) — Analytics and crash reporting (anonymized)
Supabase — Cloud data storage and authentication
6. Your Rights
6.1 Access & Export
You can view all your data within the app at any time. You can export your shift data and earnings reports as PDF files.
6.2 Correction
You can edit your display name and shift data at any time.
6.3 Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data from the Profile screen. This action is permanent and includes all shift data, AI conversation history, preferences, and your authentication account.
7. GDPR Compliance (EU Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area:
Legal basis for processing: Consent and Legitimate Interest
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and data portability
You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account
You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

9. Children's Privacy
ShiftWise is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Health Disclaimer
ShiftWise provides wellness information based on general shift work research. It is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your doctor for health decisions.
11. Data Retention
Active account data: retained while your account is active
Deleted account data: permanently removed within 30 days
Analytics data: retained in anonymized form for up to 24 months
Crash reports: retained for 90 days
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or email.
